Lyrics:
He's got the whole world in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands

He's got the wind and the rain in his hands
He's got the wind and the rain in his hands
He's got the wind and the rain in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands

He's got the tiny little baby in his hands
He's got the tiny little baby in his hands
He's got the tiny little baby in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands

He's got you and me, brother, in his hands
He's got you and me, brother, in his hands
He's got you and me, brother, in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands

He's got you and me, sister, in his hands
He's got you and me, sister, in his hands
He's got you and me, sister, in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands

Week 1 - Lesson #1 - Mummy Darling, Papa Darling

Welcome, dear children.

My little ones, how I wish we could meet face to face in our first learning experience but that's not possible for now. So, instead let us make the best use of the online learning materials.

Dear parents, you must have already seen this lesson last week. This is the lesson for Week 1.

For our first class, let us learn a song to say, "I love you," to Mummy and Daddy.

Learning outcome:

  1. Differentiate between speaking and singing
  2. Learn a simple rhythm and melody

Click on this video link to open the song and learn now:

Now, you will notice the difference between singing and talking/speaking.

First lesson: singing is different from talking.

Say, "Mummy darling, papa darling, I love you."
Now sing, "Mummy darling, papa darling, I love you."

Notice the difference.

If you're able to notice the difference between singing and talking, very good!

Now, go ahead and learn the song by heart.

That's all for today. See you in the next class.
